Caries is a disease that is caused by a diet rich in sugar, the presence of bacterial plaque, changes in saliva and also, through the characteristics of the teeth themselves. As such, this treatment is done by removing the entire area where there is cavities. After its extraction, the cavities are filled with a restorative material.
